Creepy arrival

This is Haide, who arrived yesterday. She is a Minimee of Allison Harvard, or "Creepy-chan", fave camwhore of Anonymous and ANTM runner-up. I love Creepy's look, so I had to get in on this group order! <3

I have to say that DIM have really outdone themselves on this one, the likeness to Allison is striking. I'm more than happy!
I got to work on her faceup as soon as she arrived. That was fun - her full lips are awesome to paint!
Now, to save up for a body for her. Looks like it'll be my birthday present to myself later in the month.

The mystery of Darcie

Darcie's new wig arrived today... well, actually, 2 new wigs. And it looks like she has a whole new personality and story. I'm not sure whether to change her backstory or not - it doesn't seem to fit her now...
She was a mute dancer, but now she seems more like a tragic literary heroine.

The Ice Queen

Cuprit arrived on the 21st! The customs charges didn't sting too bad and she was waiting for me when I got home from work.
And, wow. She is stunning!


SOOM have done a wonderful job on the faceup, as I expected. She came strung with her human feet, so I changed those to her hooves as soon as she arrived...


Her name is Pelagia. Her backstory is forming in her mind, and I'll update her bio soon. I love the creativity these dolls bring out in me. I think she'll be great to draw.

And now Cuprit IS on her way! SOOM gave me the wrong tracking number originally!
Now I have to find some clothing for her... uh-oh, I feel a shopping spree coming on!

I really hope it's the former! Will update as soon as I get some sort of answer from Soom.

'Bout time I updated!

So I've been reminded that I don't update this blog often... OK, here's a small update then.

I've been doing more faceups lately. I figured that practice makes perfect... I've already given Merrick a makeover, which I really prefer to the Fairyland default:



But I still need more practice! So, if you have any blank heads lying around that need a faceup, please let me know and I'll do it for free. I need to build up my portfolio! =)
